Summary
The super water retention agent produced by our company through introducing
Australia technology is a polymer suction material. And it can not only
absorb hundreds even thousands weight of water of itself and it has also
super property of water retention. If it is planted into soil, it can
not only absorb the water of air and soil and it can also strongly hold
a large quantity of rain and irrigation water, and then release slowly
to provide for the seed and crops. So it can increase the rate of young
plants, retard the time of rot, shorten the period of crops ripening and
increase the quantity of the production. It is a new product for anti-drought,
preventing from flood and saving irrigation water. The water in our country
is very insufficient. There is often no harvest in the north of Changjiang
because of lack of water. In the west, people are planting trees to prevent
deserts. The water retention material is greatly needed for the harassing
of sand wind in Beijing. As the experiment show, the harvest of crops
will increase by 20%, 20~40% for vegetable, 20% for the survival rate
of plants, if this kind of water retention material is used.
Technique Index
Appearance: white or light gray powder or particle solid. It is insoluble
in water. After absorbing water, it will swell to form gel which can counteract
some pressure compression.
Coefficient of water absorption: 400-500 ml/g for distilled water.
Coefficient of salt water absorption: 60-90 ml/g for 0.9% salt water.
PH: 6.5-7.0
LD50: >1000mg/kg
Performance and properties
1. This is a high molecular material having strong ability to absorb water.
If it is contacted with water, it can swell to form gel in a short time.
The capacity of absorption can reach above hundreds weight of itself.
It can absorb rain water or irrigation water rapidly and then store it.
When the crops need water, it will release moisture slowly. From this
way, it can not only provide the water of plants, but also prevent water
from loss, such as vaporizing, leakage and bleeding and keep the soil
moisture. As the experiments has shown, the water content of earth is
more than 5~15% during the period of the crops growing accordingly. 50%
of water can be saved. This product can absorb, release, and supply water
slowly for crops slowly.
2.It can improve the structure of earth such as particle structure, water
permeability, and air permeability and thermal capacity. It make earth
shrink and swell repeatedly, which leads to a lot of pore space in earth
and improve air permeability and water permeability of earth, and improve
the micro-organism around the root. It can also fasten the decomposition
of organism to make the root absorb easily. At the same time, it promotes
growing system of root and crops and improves the quality of soil to prevent
soil from hardness and natronization.
3. It is stable and high efficient in all kinds of soil, crops and climates.
4. It can promote crops growing, increase the brooder rate of seed by
5~15%, and shorten the period of ripe by 1.5 to 3 days. It can also promote
growing system of root.
5. Saving agricultural pesticide and fertilizer, if it is mixed with agricultural
pesticide and fertilizer. It can also store agriculture pesticide and
fertilizer and then release slowly. In this way, the efficiency of agriculture
pesticide and fertilizer will be increased by loss of vaporization, leakage
and bleeding.

Usage
1. Crops
The following methods are fit for crops such as wheat, corn, peanut, soybean
and cotton etc.
1) Stirring seed
After the water retention agent sucked enough water is called gel. Dilute
gel with water (23:1). Then add the seeds into it. Stirring the seeds
evenly. Keep it for 4 to 5 hours. The seeds can be planted when they are
not linking together any more. Then spray enough water on the seeds. The
quantity of seeds mixed with per 0.5kg water retention agents are shown
as below: 15-20kg for wheat, 20kg cotton, soybean, broomcorn, peanut,
cotton seeds, and 15kg for corn, cotton seeds.( the amount is only suggested.
The actual amount should depend on the greatness and smoothness of the
seed)
2) Immersing seed
Immerse the seeds into the gel of water retention agent for 12 hours.
Plant them after drying them. Then spray enough water. The proportion
of water retention agent and water is 1:5-10.
3) Coating film
Before planting, immerse the seeds into water till the surface of the
seeds has been wet thoroughly. Then spray the powder of water retention
agent. By this way, a layer of water retention agent is formed on the
surface of the seeds. Then scatter it into the field. The dosage of water
retention agent is 45kg per mo.
4) Planting the seeds directly
Mix the water retention agent powder with fertilizer, germicide. Plant
them with the planting machine or by hand. Then spray the water. The usage
of the water retention agent is about 4-5 kg per mo.
Examples:
In Jiaonan City of Shandong Province, the production of the wheat planted
by Tufei Zhan has increased by 27% (4kg water retention agent per mo);
In Wusi farm of Qingdao City, the production of summer corn has increased
by 35.8% (4kg water retention agent per mo).
Vegetables
Plod the field by usual way. Mix the soil with the water retention agent
by 10-15g/m3. The height of the soil mixed with the agent is 30cm. Spray
enough water after planting the seeds by traditional way. Mix the soil
from the hole with water retention agent enough (10kg water retention
agent per mo) and refill the soil into the hole when planting the tomato,
green pepper and potato etc.
